The Town of Mills River currently owns a 21.5-acre piece of property between Banner Farm Road and Presbyterian Church Road, that has been designated for recreational use. In May of 2021, Mills River Town Council approved a Master Plan for this parcel. This property is envisioned to be the future home of the Mills River Farmers' Market and will include many passive recreational amenities such as walking trails, an outdoor classroom, and a bicycle playground. Currently, there is no funding dedicated to this project or timeline for completion.
